Luv Archer and Everleigh together; always a fan of character crossovers! Just wish we had Annie’s love story!

This is the perfect conclusion to Archer and Everleigh’s story and the Lawton Ridge series. I loved this book. It has it all, drama, stalkers, fire works, love, family and great friends. The connection between these two is explosive. I could not put it down. Great read that I highly recommend. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

The more stories I read from this author duo, the more I enjoy them. There's always, conflict, a bit of mystery/suspense, a good dose of anxiety, well developed characters with more than just a passing connection and more than enough steam to fog up your kindle. The conclusion to Archer and Everleigh is no exception. We finally get the answers we've been looking for since their first book and the ones from new questions in this one. Plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing too.

When we last saw Archer and Everleigh, they had just spent a fun evening out with friends celebrating Archer’s birthday. The next morning, Everleigh opened her door to accept her breakfast takeout delivery but unfortunately, danger from the past came calling instead. Archer saw his life flash before his eyes as the love of his life lay injured on the floor. Being with Everleigh these last few months was like a dream come true for him and he would do anything to protect her from the demons of his past, even if that meant leaving her alone in case his danger also became her danger. Archer didn’t want the sins of his past to cast a dark shadow over his new life in Lawton Ridge. My mind was racing as to who could be after Everleigh or did Archer have enemies that didn’t like him enjoying his new life? Could they both be in danger from events in their pasts that had resurfaced to haunt them now? I was concerned for the entire community, especially Everleigh’s brother and his family. Archer and Everleigh were hyper aware of their surroundings and questioned any strange vehicles, texts or phone calls, which made it hard for them to relax and just enjoy being together. Kennedy Fox certainly kept me guessing throughout the book and I can only hope that Archer and Everleigh’s love and devotion to each other can withstand anything that comes their way!
